- Entry fee is $20, plus admission to Shreveport Oktoberfest.
- All entries must be 21 years of age or older.
- Contestants must hold a 1-liter stein filled to the top with beer (about 5 pounds) at arm’s length for as long as possible.
- The arm cannot be bent and must remain parallel to the floor.
- Any spillage spells disqualification.
- The winners are the last two participants, standing; arm outstretched and unbent, with full mug.
- Prizes will be awarded to first and second place
- Contest will be held at 6 pm and 8 pm. Top 5 contestants from each round will compete in the Championship round
- The Current Worlds Record is 20 minutes and 19 seconds – GOOD LUCK
